The son of bled

A rendez-vous with the light of Essaouira located during two summers, in my workshop in the late afternoon, around 6pm. With the iPad I make 15 seconds videos, which put end to end form a video of several minutes, in which I try to restore this magic and ephemeral pas-de-deux.

A dynamic light, animated by the wind, penetrates into my workshop and dances on the foor and the walls, creating moving, luminous and sonorous paintings. These abstract Chinese shadows are of rare beauty. It is a choreography between two powerful energies. It only lasts a few moments. You have to be there. I try to restore this natural beauty, inviting us to anchor ourselves in the present moment.
